Tailwind Studio isn't a studio in the usual sense — it's one person. I'm a solo developer based in Canada, and I build games together with an AI companion, Claude Code. No team, no office. Just me, an AI, and a lot of open sky.

Our first game, Paper Kites, is a love letter to blue skies, paper craft, and the simple joy of flying a kite. The two of us wrote the code together, but every single feature passed through my hands — the way light shifts at golden hour, the feel of catching the right gust, the calm of an endless sky. If it's in the game, I've played it, tweaked it, and tuned it until it felt right.

Building this way is new territory, and I'd rather be honest about it than hide it. AI helps one person reach further than they normally could — but the taste, the decisions, and the hand-tuning are human. Great games don't need to be loud to leave a lasting impression. Sometimes all it takes is a kite, the wind, and a sky worth exploring.
